On 17th of March 2012, we will gather in Gustaf Hall at a charitable concert to help Branko Črnec – TUSTA, the legendary singer of Pula’s group KUD Idijoti, with his cancer treatment.
Concert of The Ghen and ReLight. One of the bands is from periphery, the other from metropolis. But they’re both playing melodic, yet powerful music. And they are both about to release their debut albums. If you will come to Gustaf on Tuesday, you will definitely not regret it.
A Danish metal trio Rising is visiting us. Heavy riff musicians are coming for the yearly cleansing of Gustaf’s sound system, while touring and presenting their praised record of which the sound (according to critics) reminds us of early Mastodon. Detailed observations of sound characteristics through abstract-organic approach is formed by three musicians from the Berlin "Echtzeitmusik" scene: Pierre Borel on alto saxophone, Derek Shirley on contrabass in Hannes Lingens
on snare drum & acoustic objects. With the help of acoustic
instruments and solo passages through free improvisation towards
achieved group sonic structure. You know, that’s the thing political
